Gay Conversion School Dropout

When Anthony Menchetti told his parents he was gay they decided to send him to a christian gay conversion school in the hope of straightening him out.

Direct from sell-out seasons at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe, Anthony arrives to Midsumma to tell his hilarious story about coming out (to his parents), going in (to gay conversion school) and finding life somewhere in-between.

His storytelling is truthful and witty, depicting a life so full of twists and turns that no embellishment or exaggeration is required. If you are gay, you'll relate to this open, honest life story. If you aren't you'll understand your gay friends better having seen this show. Oh, and gay or straight, you'll laugh your head off. SCOTSGAY (UK) 2006 ****
